Draftsman

Job Title: Draftsman – MEP & Civil (Building Construction)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman with experience in both MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and Civil drafting for building construction projects. The ideal candidate better to have at least 1 year of experience working on construction sites in Dubai and be proficient in preparing accurate technical drawings and layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed MEP and Civil shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements.
• Review and understand project specifications, architectural, structural, and MEP plans.
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, and consultants to ensure drawings are aligned with project needs.
• Revise and update drawings based on site conditions and project changes.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Conduct site visits if necessary for accurate drafting and verification.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations, codes, and standards.
• Provide timely support to the construction team by delivering drawings as per the construction schedule.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0 - 1 year of relevant experience in both MEP and Civil drafting in Dubai.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Good understanding of building construction techniques and MEP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working with contracting companies in the UAE.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality standards and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
