Job Title: Draftsman

Department: Engineering / Design

Reports To: Project Engineer / Design Manager

Job Purpose:
The Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans based on specifications provided by engineers or architects. The role ensures accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or other design software.
• Interpret and convert design sketches or concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to clarify design requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company and client specifications.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Review and update drawings as per site changes or modifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman in construction, MEP, or architectural projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
