Position : Draftsman

Location: Dubai

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience - 2 + yrs

• Create Detailed Drawings: Prepare accurate technical drawings, schematics, and plans based on specifications provided by engineers or architects.
• AutoCAD Proficiency: Use AutoCAD or similar drafting software to create, modify, and update designs and drawings.
• Technical Documentation: Assist in the preparation of documentation including specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and other technical documents related to the drawings.
• Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that the drafts meet project requirements and standards.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Calculate material quantities and costs for glass, hardware, and installation.
• Request and review supplier and subcontractor quotes.
• Collaborate with sales and project managers to develop competitive bids and proposals.
• Monitor market prices and ensure estimates reflect current material and labor rates

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience as a Draftsman, preferably in façade, glass, aluminum, or fit-out projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other drafting software will be an added advantage.
• Ability to prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical schematics with high accuracy.
