La Maison Engineering Consultancy is looking for a Draftsman (Structural) to join our dynamic and growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive structural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
• Develop detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for steel components, ensuring accuracy for manufacturing and on-site assembly.
• Produce precise reinforcement detailing (RC detailing) in compliance with ACI, BS, AISC, ASTM, and other applicable international standards.
• Translate engineer’s design calculations, sketches, and specifications into clear, accurate, and professionally presented CAD drawings (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Collaborate closely with architects, MEP draftsmen, site engineers, and project managers to identify and resolve drawing conflicts, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines.
• Conduct thorough reviews of design and shop drawings for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission to clients, consultants, or authorities.
• Maintain organized drawing logs, revision histories, and documentation in accordance with company quality and document control procedures.
• Ensure all deliverables strictly adhere to project-specific codes and standards, including AISC, ACI, BS, ASTM, and local building regulations.
• Promptly update drawings based on site instructions, RFI responses, and consultant feedback, maintaining version control and timely communication.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings at project closeout, reflecting all field changes and final conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar structural detailing software
• Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing error-free, construction-ready drawings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills – ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
