Draftsman

Job Description

01) Assist Technical department in preparing mechanical drawings, As built drawings for Steel and Pipeline renewals with spools, supports, and joint details in line with project specifications.

02) Support the Preparator with BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and MTOs (Material Take-Offs) and maintain drawing records in the department database

03) Update daily work progress in ERP systems such as Mariner or equivalent software.

04) Generate and verify material requisitions and ensure quantities, sizes, and grades match project MTOs

05) Provide estimated man-hours for project tasks to Commercial and Technical departments as per tariff and industry standards

06) Submit final job descriptions and updates to invoicing teams for man-hour tracking.

07) Maintain complete documentation of completed (sailed) projects according to departmental procedures

08) Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of engineering drawings

09) Comply with engineering standards, shipyard guidelines, and ASME codes in all tasks

Key Responsibilities

01) Create and update technical drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D

02) Support job identification, scope planning, and drawings for fabrication

03) Maintain drawing documentation and ERP records for traceability and quality assurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
