Draftsman

We seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman who will be responsible for preparing, producing, and modifying detailed landscape shop drawings, including hardscape, softscape, swimming pools, and existing condition plans.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of hardscape details, softscape layouts, and the mechanical requirements for swimming pools and water features.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings, including site plans, grading plans, layout plans, and irrigation designs.

Create comprehensive MEP drawings for swimming pools, including piping diagrams, pump room layouts, and filtration system details.

Work closely with Landscape Architects and Project Managers to ensure designs are buildable and meet client specifications.

Visit project sites to take accurate measurements and verify existing site conditions before starting the drafting process.

Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and municipality standards.

Assist in preparing a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) by extracting accurate measurements and material counts from finalized drawings.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Three years of professional experience in a similar role within the landscaping or construction industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

Proven experience specifically in landscape and swimming pool drafting, including hardscape and softscape detailing.

In-depth understanding of swimming pool hydraulics, pump room layouts, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) diagrams.

Ability to create detailed construction shop drawings, sections, and elevations from conceptual sketches.

Ability to prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs from finalized plans.

English Proficiency.
