Draftsman

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and plans based on project requirements, specifications, and engineering designs. The role supports engineers, architects, and project teams by translating concepts into detailed drawings for execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions as required
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams for design accuracy
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Review and update drawings based on design changes and site feedback
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material specifications when required
• Ensure accuracy, scale, and dimensional consistency in all drawings

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Drafting, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Draftsman or CAD Technician
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial projects
• Knowledge of building codes and standards
• Ability to manage multiple drawings and deadlines
