Job Description
- Assist in the creation, management, and coordination of Building Information Models (BIM) for architectural, structural, civil, and MEP disciplines in alignment with project BIM Execution Plans and organizational standards.
- Work closely with consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate and validate design data, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated project deliverables.
- Prepare accurate and detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation required for design development, tender submissions, and construction execution.
- Update and maintain BIM models throughout project stages, incorporating design modifications, authority feedback, and as-built conditions.
- Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs directly from BIM models to support engineering and site teams.
- Support design coordination and clash detection activities, highlighting and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Maintain a well-organized digital database of models, templates, and project resources with proper version control and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure the smooth transition of BIM data into construction and facility management stages.
Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM standards, data exchange formats, and authority guidelines.
- Contribute to the enhancement of company BIM workflows, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives in digital project delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in BIM modeling or coordination within the construction sector (experience in GCC projects preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Navisworks, Dynamo, or other BIM tools is a plus.
- Sound understanding of Level of Development (LOD), model coordination, and BIM data management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, visualization ability, and commitment to producing accurate deliverables.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of local authority standards and BIM-related requirements in Bahrain is advantageous.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to grow in the evolving field of digital construction and BIM technology.
