Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage BIM implementation across multidisciplinary teams including Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEP disciplines in line with project requirements and BIM protocols.
- Develop, review, and enforce the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), ensuring compliance throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate the creation, integration, and maintenance of discipline-specific and federated BIM models from concept through construction and handover.
- Review models for accuracy, compliance, and LOD requirements at each project milestone.
- Conduct clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution workflows using Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar coordination platforms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related coordination between clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Support design and construction teams by providing constructability reviews and digital coordination solutions.
- Ensure proper data management, including model version control, naming conventions, and common data environment (CDE) standards.
- Generate coordinated drawings, BIM-based quantities, schedules, and reports as required by the project.
- Assist in the adoption of BIM best practices, automation tools, and digital engineering innovations to improve project efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in BIM coordination, BIM management, or digital design roles within construction or consultancy environments.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM collaboration platforms.
- Solid understanding of BIM standards, LOD requirements, clash management workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation accurately.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Well-organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple BIM tasks under tight project timelines.
- Experience working on large-scale or GCC-based projects is an added advantage.
