Draftsman (Civil/MEP)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in drafting and design engineering
• Experience in construction or industrial projects is preferred
• Proficiency in Civil and/or MEP drafting

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop detailed drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for Civil and MEP works
• Interpret and convert engineering designs, sketches, and specifications into accurate technical drawings
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and completeness
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and client requirements
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, codes, and specifications
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software (Revit/BIM is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, layouts, and detailing (Civil/MEP)
• Knowledge of local codes, standards, and authority requirements
• Ability to prepare coordination drawings and clash-free layouts

Coordination & Quality:

• Work closely with site and design teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
• Support QA/QC processes by ensuring drawing accuracy and compliance
• Assist in resolving design and coordination issues

Pay: RO300.000 - RO350.000 per month
