Draftsman cum QPRO Permit Coordinator

ACTS, Qatar is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Draftsman cum QPRO Permit coordinator to support project teams in managing Qatar Permit to Work (QPRO) applications and preparing technical drawings. The role requires expertise in coordinating with authorities, ensuring compliance with QPRO regulations, and producing accurate CAD drawings for construction.

Drafting / Design Support:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or relevant software.
• Review and revise drawings based on project specifications and consultant/client feedback.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper documentation control.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop an efficient drawing.

Permit Coordination (QPRO):

• Prepare, submit, and track QPRO permit applications for construction and fit-out works.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, and clients to ensure timely approval of permits.
• Ensure compliance with all QPRO requirements, safety standards, and legal obligations.
• Maintain an updated record of permits, approvals, renewals, and expiries.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and HSE teams for permit-related requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in QPRO permit coordination within Qatar is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, standards, and approval procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other drafting software.
• At least with 4 years of experience in Qatar
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in English
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Must hold a valid QID and able to transfer his sponsorship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR5,000.00 per month
