Draftsman (ELV)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shop drawings for ELV systems such as:
• Fire Alarm System
• CCTV & Surveillance
• Access Control System
• PA/BGM System
• Data & Structured Cabling
• Nurse Call System
• IPTV / MATV
• Building Management System (BMS)
• Develop schematic diagrams, cable routing layouts, containment layouts (trays, conduits), and rack room layouts.
• Prepare as-built drawings and update drawings as per site conditions and engineer comments.
• Coordinate with ELV engineers and site teams for technical clarifications.
• Identify and resolve clashes with other MEP services.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and hospital-specific requirements.
• Follow relevant standards such as NFPA, BIS/IS codes, and local authority regulations.
• Verify routing, cable paths, dimensions, and technical details before drawing submission.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI/Diploma in Draftsmanship, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience as an ELV Draftsman in an MEP contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems, low-voltage cabling, and equipment layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Attention to detail and high drafting accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bhubaneswar, Orissa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• PROJECT EXECUTION: 3 years (Preferred)
