Draftsman - For a Leading Marble Company

Job Title: Draftsman (Marble & Stone Industry)Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Draftsman to create precise technical drawings and layouts for marble and stone projects. The role involves translating design concepts into executable drawings for production and site installation. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction or stone-related drafting and strong proficiency in CAD tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings for marble flooring, wall cladding, countertops, staircases, and custom stone elements.
• Convert architectural and interior design concepts into technical shop drawings.
• Work closely with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
• Create cutting lists and layouts to optimize material usage and reduce wastage.
• Modify and update drawings based on site conditions and client feedback.
• Coordinate with factory and site teams for execution accuracy.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential).
• Basic knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, dimensions, and detailing.
• Knowledge of marble, granite, and stone applications in construction/interiors.
• Ability to read architectural and interior drawings.
• Good mathematical and measurement skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.
• Experience working in the marble, stone, or interior fit-out industry.
• Familiarity with CNC cutting drawings and stone fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of site execution and installation methods.

Experience

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
