Draftsman – Interior Fit-Out

Job Brief:

Are you an experienced Draftsman with a strong background in interior fit-out, joinery, civil works, electrical layouts, and MEP drawings?
Do you have hands-on experience preparing precise shop drawings, cutting lists, and detailed technical documentation?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading interior design & fit-out company based in Dubai Media City, where you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring all designs meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings, cutting lists, and assembly drawings.
• Draft civil, electrical, and MEP drawings as required for interior fit-out projects.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from designers, engineers, or project managers.
• Coordinate with production and site teams for clarifications on dimensions and details.
• Maintain accurate and updated documentation of drawings and revisions.
• Support the design and technical team with all drafting requirements.
• Manage workload efficiently and ensure timely delivery of drawings.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Diploma/Certification in Drafting, AutoCAD, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant drafting experience in joinery, interior fit-out, civil, electrical, or MEP projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp or Revit is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of joinery detailing, interior materials, and fit-out specifications.
• Ability to read, interpret, and prepare precise technical shop drawings.
• Experience working with materials such as laminates, veneers, marble, metal, and glass.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Location: Dubai – Media City

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: AED 6,000 – 8,000 (based on experience)
