Draftsman - Landscape

Responsibilities:

• Understand the drawing requirements and approval procedures for various. authorities, including Emaar, Trakhees, Nakheel, RTA, DEWA, and Consultants.
• Have a clear understanding of the drawing requirements for landscape features such as hardscape, planter boxes, retention walls, sunken seating, softscape, irrigation, lighting, MEP systems, swimming pools, Jacuzzis, water features, showers, street furniture, kids' play equipment, jogging tracks, shade structures, pergolas, gazebos, trellises, wooden decking, sculptures, and BBQ areas.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers (PM) and Project Engineers to fully understand the scope of work, drawing requirements, and timelines before commencing drawing work.
• Prepare high-quality shop drawings promptly.
• Extract accurate quantities from CAD drawings for the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Develop a weekly drawing schedule, coordinating with PMs on upcoming work, prioritizing tasks to support project management effectively.
• Work with Project Engineers/Site Engineers to ensure timely and accurate submission of as-built and shop drawings.
• Conduct site visits to ongoing project sites to verify that work aligns with the drawings, ensuring quality, finish, and material standards are met.
• Participate in monthly project meetings to ensure alignment and progress tracking.

Requirements:

• Must have experience in landscaping industry.
• Should be well-versed with AutoCAD, BIM, Photoshop, Google Sketchup and experience in other softwares will be an added advantage.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture/Drafting.
