Job Title: Draftsman / CAD & CIVIL 3D ROAD WORKS

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Experience Required: 5+ years

Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile Draftsman with at least 5 years of experience in preparing technical and design drawings using a variety of CAD and design software. The ideal candidate should be proficient in digital drafting, have strong technical understanding, and be capable of producing accurate drawings for civil, structural, architectural, or MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and update detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics using AutoCAD, CIVIL 3D or other design software.
• Convert sketches, concepts, and engineering instructions into precise digital drawings.
• Ensure all drawings meet company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to resolve design issues.
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for projects.
• Assist site teams with technical clarifications and support.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input for improvements.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draftsman or Design Technician.
• Proficient in one or more of the following: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD/design software.
• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related field.

Additional Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of local UAE construction codes and standards.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination with consultants.
• Familiarity with project management and design coordination tools.
