Draughtsman

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and layouts based on project requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, shop drawings, and layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Review project specifications, design plans, and sketches to develop accurate drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams for required information and clarifications.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements.
• Modify and update drawings based on feedback or site conditions.
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Maintain drawing files, documentation, and records in an organized manner.
• Conduct site measurements when required.
• Assist in resolving drawing-related issues during project execution.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in joinery, fit-out, or construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and design concepts.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in joinery and interior fit-out drawings.
• Knowledge of 3D software (SketchUp, Revit, etc.) is an advantage.
