Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our engineering consultancy team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation for architectural, structural, and MEP projects in accordance with project specifications and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed CAD drawings and shop drawings based on engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations.

Modify and revise drawings as per design changes or consultant/client feedback.

Produce coordinated drawings (architectural, structural, MEP) for submission and construction.

Ensure drawings comply with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority standards.

Maintain an organized filing system for all drawings and documents.

Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure drawing accuracy.

Assist in site measurements and preparation of as-built drawings when required.

Requirements:

Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of drafting experience in the UAE, preferably within an engineering consultancy.

Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, or other software is a plus.

Familiarity with local authority submission procedures and drawing standards (DM, DDA, Trakhees, DEWA, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
