ARARA INFRA – URGENT HIRING: INFRASTRUCTURE DRAUGHTSMAN

ARARA INFRA is urgently looking for an experienced Infrastructure Draughtsman to join our team.

Infrastructure Draughtsman work with civil engineers, planning engineers, and project managers to prepare technical drawings for infrastructure works such as road layouts, sewer networks, stormwater drainage, and utility corridors. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drawing Preparation

• Prepare detailed civil infrastructure drawings based on engineer instructions.
• Produce plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for infrastructure works.
• Convert design sketches into accurate CAD drawings.

Infrastructure Drawings
Typical drawings include:

• Road layout plans
• Road cross-sections
• Utility layout plans
• Sewerage and drainage networks
• Water supply pipelines
• Stormwater drainage systems

Drawing Modifications

• Revise drawings according to engineer or consultant comments.
• Maintain updated drawing versions.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.

Coordination

• Coordinate with civil engineers and site teams.
• Support design engineers during submission drawings.
• Assist in preparing drawings for municipality approvals.

Documentation

• Maintain drawing registers and document control.
• Ensure drawings follow company CAD standards.

Software Skills

• AutoCAD
• Civil 3D
• MicroStation (preferred but not mandatory)
• Microsoft Excel

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting / Engineering Technology
• 3–8 years of experience in infrastructure drafting

Required Skills

• Strong CAD drafting skills
• Understanding of civil infrastructure drawings
• Knowledge of road and utility layouts
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to interpret engineering designs
