Draughtsman cum BOQ preparer (Fit Out)

We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman / BOQ Preparer with hands-on experience in joinery and interior fitout detailing. The candidate will be responsible for preparing precise Prduction drawings, BOQs, and quantity take-offs, ensuring designs align with both production and site execution requirements. Experience in 3D visualization software will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drawing & Drafting:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery details, and production drawings for furniture, wall panels, counters, and custom interior elements.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure drawings are practical and aligned with fabrication standards.
• Maintain drawing revisions, version control, and proper documentation.

2. BOQ & Quantity Take-off:

• Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Analyse and list all joinery components, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
• Assist in cost estimation by coordinating with procurement for material pricing.
• Identify discrepancies in design documents and highlight them to the project engineer/manager.

3. Coordination & Site Support:

• Liaise with project engineers, production team, and site supervisors for drawing clarifications and material confirmations.
• Attend site visits when required for measurement verification.
• Support the project team with any design or material-related technical queries.

4. Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and industry codes.
• Ensure accuracy and clarity in all submitted drawings and BOQs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
