Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed design and shop drawings for fire protection systems including firefighting system, fire alarm system, voice evacuation system, emergency light system, smoke management system and LPG system.
- Develop coordinated drawings aligned with architectural, structural, and MEP layouts.
- Review and revise drawings based on consultant and client comments.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, local authority codes, and international standards.
- Prepare as-built drawings and final documentation upon project completion.
- Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to resolve design or coordination issues.
- Verify layouts, dimensions, and technical details before submission.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and technical records.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Bachelor’s, or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in fire protection system design and drafting, preferably within the UAE/GCC region.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of fire protection system components, layouts, and standards.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, codes, and project drawings.
- Good coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
