- Prepare precise and accurate technical drawings for water and wastewater treatment process plants, piping, and equipment layout using AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Interpret engineering sketches, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to produce fabrication- and construction-ready documents.
- Assist engineers in developing designs for process systems, tanks, skids, filtration units, and odour control solutions.
- Prepare as-built, proposal, and construction drawings in accordance with client, project, and regulatory requirements.
- Compile equipment lists, material specifications, and technical documentation for project submissions and tenders.
- Prepare detailed mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation drawings as required for projects.
- Prepare fabrication and installation drawings for tanks, skids, pipe supports, and equipment assemblies.
- Assist in BOQ preparation by extracting quantities and details from drawings.
- Support the technical proposals team by preparing high-quality drawings and visual material for client presentations and bids.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, explaining technical details and design concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrate a client-focused approach in all interactions, supporting the achievement of business development goals.
- Basic understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies and process engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices to designs and technical submissions.
- Knowledge of relevant CAD, BIM, and design software tools Revit, or SolidWorks is an added advantage.
- Demonstrate an analytical approach to identifying and resolving drafting and design issues.
- Work proactively to find solutions that improve constructability, compliance, and operational performance of treatment systems.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Adaptable and eager to learn new systems, technologies, and industry trends.
- Collaborative and able to contribute effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Draughting, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD and drawing production for process industries; prior water/wastewater sector experience is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical information and produce clear, compliant, and accurate documentation.
