DREDGING PRODUCTION ENGINEER
- Prepare dredging production estimates and cost calculations for tenders and projects based and determine optimal methodologies for project execution
- Ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives by assisting in planning and scheduling activities
- Evaluate and enhance dredging processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Provide technical support for equipment issues and operational challenges, resolving problems promptly
- Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of dredging operations, including performance metrics and incident reports, and prepare regular reports on operational performance and project status
- Work closely with team members to ensure effective collaboration and communication
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior staff and crew members, and liaise with clients and stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on project progress
- Assist in the management of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel
- Set up useful databases for big data analyses and work with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for the estimation process
- Collaborate closely with the estimation division and operations department to check and analyse estimated versus actual production
- Maintain awareness of contract conditions to ensure estimation and operational alignment
- Suggest improvements to production and cost estimation methods based on lessons learned and feedback
- Stay informed about advancements in dredging technology, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance practices and maintain competitive advantage
- Contribute to lessons learned feedback loops from projects to tenders
- Conduct thorough reviews of project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements
- This is a generalist view of a Job that you have been assigned for - at times you may be requested to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements

Understanding of environmental and safety compliance requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
- Minimum 07 years of related work experience in similar industries
Minimum 04 years of related work experience in similar industries

Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
