Summit Anaheim currently has an open position for Drill Supervisor (1st shift). Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.
Position Summary: Under minimal supervision, the Drill Lead assists the Production Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Drill Departments. They will provide general supervision for the department Operators. They will ensure the quality of the product and maintain product movement. They will operate and oversee operation of two or more numerically controlled machines simultaneously to drill low tolerance holes in panels. Assists in performing complex and standard machine setups. Also, assists to ensure that multiple machines are at or near capacity output levels.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

1. To coordinate daily operations and work flow based off of Production Control Scheduling.
2. Train and assist in Drill preparation in order to maximize productivity.
3. Operate all drilling equipment with little supervision.
4. Review all travelers and make set-up decisions, which conform to customer specifications.
5. Evaluate and discontinue processing of non-conforming product.
