The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of food items, sauces, packaging, and operational stock to all company food trucks across multiple brands. The role also includes transporting staff to interchange points, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, supporting truck relocation for events, and adhering to traffic and company safety protocols. The ideal candidate must be punctual, disciplined, presentable, and a strong team player committed to supporting day-to-day operations without disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Operations & Stock Handling:
- Deliver sauces, food items, and supplies to all 9 trucks (Harr & Hloo, Crema, Knouf) as per daily schedules.
- Ensure products are transported in safe and hygienic conditions (especially temperature-sensitive items).
- Cross-check delivery lists and ensure all required items are delivered in full and on time.
- Communicate delays or delivery issues immediately to the Store Manager.
- Assist in physical loading/unloading of items at source and destination.
- Maintain daily delivery logbook and checklists.
Punctuality & Staff Transfers:
- Report to the store on time daily as per assigned schedule.
- Ensure staff drop-offs and pickups to/from truck locations and bus interchange points are done efficiently.
- Be available for early or late shifts during events or high-demand days.
Vehicle Cleanliness & Upkeep:
- Clean the delivery truck daily (interior and exterior).
- Keep the vehicle organized, free from clutter, and ready for operation.
- Perform daily vehicle checks (fuel, tires, oil, coolant) and report any issues immediately.
- Assist in minor maintenance coordination when required.
Event & Truck Relocation Support:
- Participate in the relocation of food trucks for events or brand activations.
- Assist operationally during set-up and breakdown, including stock transport and placement.
Appearance & Professional Conduct:
- Always wear the full company uniform including proper shoes (mandatory).
- Maintain good personal hygiene and a clean, respectful appearance.
- Communicate respectfully with colleagues, managers, and truck staff.
Driving Safety & Regulations:
- Drive safely at all times and follow UAE traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Avoid fines, speeding, and risky behaviour that may result in delays or food damage.
- All fines due to driver negligence (e.g., traffic violations, rash driving) will be the driver’s responsibility.
- In case of accidents, follow reporting procedures immediately.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid UAE manual driving license (with minimum 2 years of experience).
- Proven experience in delivery or logistics roles, preferably in F&B or catering.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and hygiene standards.
- Ability to read and follow delivery sheets or app-based dispatch systems.
- Good physical stamina for loading and unloading.
- Familiar with major roads and areas across Abu Dhabi and nearby regions.
- Strong sense of responsibility, time management, and discipline.
Working Conditions:
- Shift-based work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Work involves driving, lifting, cleaning, and assisting in outdoor environments.
- Company accommodation is provided, and attendance/punctuality will be strictly monitored.
