POSITION PURPOSE

Guest service Driver to assist in achieving highest level of Guest Satisfaction by providing efficient, friendly, attentive Guest Transfer Service. To welcome guests to the hotel from the Airport and at all times assist the guest with luggage during Airport Transfer. At all times, ensures Superior, personalized, quality Guest Services are provided to guests. Always displays a professional, positive, and friendly image of the hotel as he plays a crucial role in Guest Satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Demonstrate initiative & responsibility at all times.
  • Ensure Guest Service Vehicle is clean, odor free, fueled enough, and ready to receive guest.
  • Check and report to Transport in – charge of any damage/accident of the vehicle before resuming duty.
  • Ensure to check and secure a copy of the daily transportation control sheet and trace report, follow up on the guest transfer.
  • Ensure vehicle is ready at Airport 15minutes before guest arrival time, demonstrate initiative to cross-check flight time report any changes to transportation in charge/Front office.
  • Communicates effectively with both external and internal customers.
  • Ensure to welcome & farewell guests as per hotel standard / training provided.
  • To wear the correct uniform at all times and maintain standards of appearance, personal hygiene, behavior and discipline.
  • Ensure to log all movements of the vehicle, and park the vehicle in a designated location when not in use.
  • Ensure efficient communication must be maintained with transport in charge regarding guest transfer/any challenges.
  • Ensure to notify the Front Desk of respective hotels of the Guest’s arrival 5-10 minutes before arrival at the property(for pre-registering,etc.)

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure all activities are carried out honestly, ethically respecting local culture and Local Law.
  • To attend meetings and training required by Supervisor.
  • To be fully aware of the Health & Safety Policy.
  • To be aware of fire, bomb procedures, and emergency procedures.
  • Take care in work to avoid accidents.
  • Report suspicious packages.
  • Strong communication with Transportation in charge/Front Desk personnel.
  • Key relationship with all departments, Reservations, and Accounts, coordinate for smooth operations.
  • Work as team with employees from all departments to ensure FO objectives are met.
  • Accept and follow through with any other assignment given by Supervisor/Transportation.
