Position Title: Driver

Department: Operations Logistics

Location: UAE (Multiple Project Sites)

1. Position Summary

The Driver plays a vital role in supporting the company’s day-to-day fit-out operations by ensuring safe and timely transportation of materials, tools, equipment, documents, and personnel across project sites, suppliers, and the company office. The role requires responsibility, punctuality, safe driving skills, and a strong commitment to supporting site teams and project timelines.

2. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesA. Transportation of Materials & Equipment

• Transport materials, joinery items, tools, and site equipment to and from suppliers, warehouse, and project locations.
• Ensure all materials are properly secured and protected during transit to avoid damage.
• Assist in loading and unloading items when required.

B. Staff and Site Movement

• Provide transportation for workers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors as per daily schedules.
• Support multiple sites by managing time efficiently and planning routes effectively.

C. Document Handling & Deliveries

• Deliver and collect documents, LPOs, cheques, samples, and approvals from clients, consultants, and authority offices.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of all deliveries and submissions.

D. Vehicle Care & Maintenance

• Conduct daily checks of vehicle condition (oil, water, tyres, lights, brakes, battery).
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean, organized, and roadworthy condition.
• Report any mechanical issues immediately and coordinate with the office for routine servicing or repairs.

E. Site & Project Support

• Assist site teams with urgent procurement needs and last-minute requirements.
• Support during inspections, handovers, and material movement within the project site.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager for daily movement plans.

F. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain a daily log of trips, fuel usage, kilometres driven, and deliveries completed.
• Keep all vehicle documents (registration, insurance, passing) updated and readily available.
• Provide daily updates to the office or project team regarding pending deliveries and site movements.

3. Skills & Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License (Manual preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of driving experience in UAE, ideally in construction or fit-out sector.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic rules.
• Basic communication skills in English or Hindi/Malayalam.
• Physically fit and able to assist in loading/unloading materials.
• Punctual, reliable, disciplined, and professional in behaviour.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
