Driver

Job Purpose:

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient transportation services for staff, guests, and organizational requirements while ensuring proper maintenance and upkeep of the assigned vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive company vehicles for official staff transportation, pick and drop services, and other assigned duties.
• Ensure timely arrival and departure as per schedule and instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights, etc.) before use.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and organizational driving policies.
• Maintain accurate logbook records including mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper care and security of the vehicle at all times.
• Assist in loading/unloading of official materials when required.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Valid driving license (LTV/HTV as applicable)
• Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations
• Familiarity with local routes and navigation
• Responsible, punctual, and disciplined behavior
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
• Good communication and professional conduct

Qualifications & Experience:

• Middle/Matric (preferred)
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant driving experience
