Driver – Demobilization Project (Oman)

Overview

Prismecs is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver – Demobilization Project (Oman) to support transportation needs during plant shutdown and demobilization activities.

This role is project-based (estimated 2–4 months) and we are hiring locally within Oman for immediate mobilization .

The Driver will be responsible for transporting personnel, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently while supporting logistics operations across the project site. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety, Environment & Compliance (HSE)

• Follow all traffic laws, site safety rules, and HSE procedures
• Ensure safe driving practices at all times
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues
• Ensure proper handling and transport of materials and equipment

Shutdown & Demobilization Support

• Transport personnel to and from site locations
• Support movement of tools, spare parts, and materials
• Assist logistics team with equipment transportation
• Support urgent transport needs during shutdown activities
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

Logistics & Site Support

• Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator and site teams
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicle
• Support administrative or site errands as needed

Vehicle Management

• Perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Maintain fuel logs and trip records
• Report any mechanical issues immediately
• Ensure vehicle documentation is up to date

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid Oman driving license
• Minimum 3+ years of driving experience
• Experience driving in industrial, construction, or project sites
• Good knowledge of local routes and locations in Oman
• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to work long hours and flexible schedules

Additional Requirements

• Must be currently based in Oman (local hiring only)
• Available for immediate start
• Available for project duration (2–4 months)
• Willingness to support site operations beyond driving when needed

Preferred

• Experience supporting shutdown or construction projects
• Experience transporting equipment or materials
• Basic knowledge of logistics coordination
