Driver - Moving & Relocation

A reputable moving and relocation company in Nashville, TN is seeking a dependable Driver to support office & industrial and household goods relocations. This position plays a critical role in delivering safe, efficient transportation services while ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout each move.

Core Responsibilities:

• Safely operate moving trucks and transportation vehicles for local and regional relocation projects
• Load, secure, transport, and unload household goods, office furniture, equipment, and commercial assets
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Coordinate effectively with moving crews, dispatch teams, and customers to ensure timely and successful relocations
• Complete delivery documentation, inventory records, and customer paperwork accurately
• Support packing, furniture assembly/disassembly, and on-site relocation activities as needed
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service while representing the company positively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the moving, relocation, logistics, or transportation industry
• Experience handling household goods (HHG) or commercial/office relocations preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL is advantageous)
• Strong understanding of safe transportation, loading, and cargo handling procedures
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving heavy items
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities
