Overview:
Under the supervision of the Supply & Services Manager, the Driver Operator Lead supervises and leads a team responsible for loading and unloading, transporting, receiving, storing, and inventory control of materials and merchandise, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely operations. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Medium-Duty Trucks (5–13 tons), as well as vans, pickup trucks, and forklifts, in support of operational activities in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to accomplish provided tasks to standard.

Load, transport and offload furniture, materials and equipment.

Receive and maintain items in the Warehouse

Restock custodial and furnishing items
-
Manual labor as required (packing, unpacking, shelving)

Receive, store, and sort unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal.

Move or transports materiel or supplies to other departments, using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck

Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications

Must hold a Qatar-issued driving license (Minimum: Medium Truck)

Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

High School Diploma required

Must have and maintain a local driver’s license for all required vehicles and equipment.

Has two (2) years’ experience as a Medium or Heavy truck driver.

Experience:

5 years' experience operating vehicles and forklifts in an industrial or commercial environment

Must be highly proficient and licensed

Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly

Working Environment:

The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
