Indian River Transport, one of the nation’s premier liquid bulk food-grade carriers, is seeking a Driver Recruiter to join our dynamic team at our corporate headquarters in Winter Haven, FL. We’re looking for a motivated, people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for connecting top CDL-A driver talent with long-term career opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

• Proactively source and recruit qualified CDL-A drivers using job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks.

• Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate driver experience, safety records, and qualifications.

• Guide candidates through the full recruitment process from initial contact through orientation and onboarding.

• Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with prospective hires to ensure engagement.

• Collaborate with safety, operations, and HR teams to ensure a smooth handoff and timely onboarding.

• Track and manage candidate activity using applicant tracking systems (ATS).

• Ensure all hiring practices comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in driver recruiting or high-volume transportation recruiting and minimum quotas.

• Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations preferred.

• Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.

• High sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting software (Tenstreet preferred).

• Self-starter mindset with a results-driven attitude.
