Position Overview: Driver / Shipping Clerk 2188
The **Driver / Shipping Clerk **supports transportation, cylinder manufacturing, and warehouse functions to ensure the safe and efficient handling, movement, and processing of cylinders, materials, and finished products. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, product quality, and reliable customer service.
The position involves operating company vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and internal safety policies, as well as performing hands-on work within the manufacturing and warehouse environment. Responsibilities include cylinder disassembly, inspection, assembly, and general warehouse support, requiring attention to detail, safety, and teamwork across operational areas.

Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, road signs, directions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
