Driver - Workshop

Job Purpose:

To safely operate company light vehicles to transport staff, documents, and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive company light vehicles for official duties and assignments.
• Pick up and drop off staff, visitors, and materials as required.
• Ensure timely delivery of documents, parcels, and other items to different locations.
• Maintain the vehicle in good working condition through regular checks and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure the vehicle is always clean (interior and exterior).
• Follow all UAE traffic rules, road safety standards, and company driving policies.
• Maintain a logbook of daily trips, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Support administrative tasks such as collecting documents, visiting government offices, and handling courier tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times during trips and assignments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License.
• Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to communicate in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Physically fit and able to lift light-to-moderate loads if required.
• Good time management and navigation skills.
• Polite, disciplined, and professional behavior.
