Drop Bury Technician

AT Trenching LLC is seeking reliable and motivated Drop Bury Technicians to support our fiber drop bury projects throughout Kansas and Nebraska. This 1099 Contractor position involves installing and burying fiber optic service lines from the main network to residential homes and businesses.

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. If you are dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working outdoors, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Install and bury fiber optic drop lines from pedestal or terminal to customer locations
• Use hand tools and basic equipment to complete installations
• Follow utility locate markings and safety procedures
• Take required job photos and documentation for completed work
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and walking long distances
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Experience in telecom, construction, or utility work is a plus but not required
• Truck or SUV strongly recommended
