Drywall Taper/Finisher

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, with the ability to work on various construction projects. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The Drywall Taper/Finisher will be responsible for preparing and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and professional appearance.

Duties

• Apply tape and joint compound to drywall seams and corners for a seamless finish
• Smooth out imperfections and prepare surfaces for painting or further finishing
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met
• Perform additional tasks such as caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry as needed
• Install Drywall unto partitions prior to finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Construction site experience
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans
• Experience in drywall installation and finishes
• Familiarity with airless paint spraying, tile laying, metal stud framing, and stucco application
• Strong maintenance person skills with knowledge of remodeling techniques
