Your Role:


To perform medical assessments of individual case safety reports (ICSR) within organisation safety database system. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate case evaluations for patient safety. Work with vendors on case management and medical assessments to maintain the quality of ICSR. Interface with medical safety teams on pharmacovigilance activities related to products in both clinical development and post-marketing phases.


Who You Are:


Minimum Requirements:


  • Physician with an MBBS/MD degree, including relevant clinical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with at least 2 years focused on patient safety/pharmacovigilance.
  • 2 years in hospital or private practice prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry.


Maximum Requirements:


  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations of serious and non-serious cases in the safety database.
  • Assess the quality of medical assessments from vendors against established quality KPIs.
  • Monitor workflows to ensure timely completion of tasks and engage with Medical Safety on identified “Index-cases.”
  • Issue medical queries for follow-up information and maintain comprehensive knowledge of product safety profiles across various therapeutic areas.
  • Support regulatory inspections and audits, participate in internal training, and contribute to product launch activities as applicable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment with strong communication and team-working skills.
