DSP (Direct Support Professional)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities - meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Implement individualized care plans and goals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Skills:
- Experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes
- Proficiency in working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of childcare practices and principles
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
