DST Field Specialist

The TS Field Specialist is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The TS Field Specialist identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  
• Responsible for service delivery execution.
  
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
  
• Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
  
• Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
  
• Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
  
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  
• Maintain the required safety training.

• High Diploma degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum Field Experience: 10-15 years of direct, hands-on experience in drill stem testing (DST) operations.
• Senior-Level Role: At least 3-5 years of that experience should be in a supervisory, coordinator, or senior field specialist capacity, with responsibility for planning, execution, and troubleshooting of complex DST operation.
• Mastery of DST Equipment & Tools: In-depth knowledge of DST tools (packers, valves, recorders, downhole gauges, multi-cycle tools), surface control systems, and safety equipment
• Well Testing Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of well test design, data acquisition, sampling, and flow measurement (oil, gas, water).
• Pressure Transient Analysis: Ability to interpret preliminary pressure buildup/drawdown data and identify well/reservoir behavior.
• H2S Operations: Mandatory experience working in H2S environments.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with well testing software and reporting tools.
• Well Control: Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control certification .
• Compliance & Safety: Thorough knowledge of international and local safety standards .
• Leadership & Mentoring: Proven ability to lead a crew, manage client expectations, and mentor junior testers and engineers.
