Overview:
The D&T Manager – Data & Analytics will play a pivotal role in driving a data-driven culture across the organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role will identify opportunities where data and insights can significantly enhance decision-making and business outcomes.
He will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing robust data governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and compliance standards. In addition, the role will focus on enabling advanced analytics, reporting automation, and master data management to support both strategic and operational excellence.
How Will You Make An Impact?
1. Strategy Development & Implementation

Develop and execute a comprehensive BI & Analytics strategy aligned with organizational objectives.

Anticipate future demands related to people, technology, budget, and business, and design/implement scalable solutions.

Oversee the selection and implementation of appropriate tools and technologies.
2. Business Intelligence & Insights Management
-
Translate business objectives into tangible, measurable KPIs across functions (product, tech, operations, sales & marketing, finance).

Ensure reporting and dashboards align with Agthia Leadership Team (LT) needs.

Deliver high-quality interactive dashboards and visualization tools to support decision-making.

Lead advanced analytics projects to uncover insights, drive optimization, and inform strategic initiatives.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decisions.

Design and deploy data models, algorithms, and ETL processes to support business initiatives.

Build predictive and prescriptive models to enable operational and strategic improvements.
4. Project Management

Manage analytics projects end-to-end, from scoping to delivery.

Lead specification, data gathering, analysis, and outcome modeling.

Oversee team deliverables, prioritize work, and ensure timelines and quality standards are met.

Drive efficiency through effective planning, monitoring, and resource utilization.
5. Data Governance

Establish and enforce a data governance framework to ensure integrity, quality, and security of organizational data.

Collaborate with IT teams to maintain robust data infrastructure.
6. Stakeholder Management
-
Effectively communicate analytical insights and business impacts to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Build trusted partnerships across business units, IT, and external vendors.
7. Industry Trends & Emerging Technologies
-
Stay current with BI, AI, and data analytics trends.

Recommend adoption of innovative solutions to strengthen organizational capabilities.
8. Compliance & Risk Management
-
Ensure all BI & Analytics activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Promote ethical data practices and safeguard Agthia’s reputation.
-
Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks.
9. Investments & Special Projects
-
Lead preparation of investment proposals and business cases for new initiatives.
-
Drive special projects as assigned by the Agthia LT.
10. Leadership, Coaching & Mentoring
-
Mentor and guide BI & Analytics team members, supporting their growth and career development.

Conduct performance reviews, define succession plans, and build a high-performing culture.
11. Budget Management

Prepare and manage departmental budgets.

Monitor financial performance against targets and ensure cost efficiency.
Education & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Computer Science / Analytics (or related field).
-
Professional certifications in Data Governance, BI Tools (Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, ETL, MDM), or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Experience & Skills
-
8–12 years of professional experience in handling complex data and analytics projects.

Proven track record of managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
-
Prior experience as an Analytics Manager, Strategic Business Analyst, or similar role with strong exposure to quantitative analytics and business intelligence.

Strong expertise in Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, ETL processes, Power BI, and Master Data Management.

Demonstrated ability in project/program management, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.

Ability to translate business objectives into data-driven insights, metrics, and visualizations for senior leadership.

Exposure to FMCG/consumer-focused industries preferred.

Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
-
Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
Functional Knowledge

Strong expertise in analyzing large datasets and applying mathematical, statistical, and quantitative analysis techniques to perform complex analyses and data mining.

Proven ability to translate and articulate complex insights into clear, actionable opportunities for diverse business stakeholders.

Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and Python.

Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel for data modeling and analysis.

Hands-on experience in ETL frameworks (Extract, Transform, Load).

Skilled in using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Zoho Analytics to deliver meaningful insights.
