Empire Hotels Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in overseeing The Fairfield Inn & Suites and Springhill Suites in Rochester, MN. As a Dual General Manager you will be the right hand to the General Manager. Assisting in leading daily operations, increasing guest satisfaction, driving performance, and developing a strong team to execute company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

Oversee daily operations across both brands, ensuring smooth coordination between departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage.

Training and Development

Monitor and develop team member performance, providing supervision and training development, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewards.

Establish a presence with team members on the property and actively solicits team member feedback. Utilizes an “open door” policy and reviews team member engagement.

Uphold Brand Standards and safety protocols

Ensure compliance with brand standard operating procedures and all company policies.

Safety protocols, and local/state regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections.

Performance Management

Review guest survey results and other data to identify areas of improvement. Review both positive and negative findings with the hotel team and ensure appropriate action is taken when needed.

Guest Relations and Problem resolution

Highly visible and interact with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on the quality of the product, service levels, and overall satisfaction.

Revenue and Service Goals

Collaborate with the sales team to support group business, local partnerships, and promotional initiatives. Participate in revenue management meetings and strategy sessions.

Perform technical and administrative duties, including, but not limited to; Profit and Loss Statements, Rewards Reimbursement, Accounts Receivable, Credit Account Reconciliation and Payroll.

Shift Coverage and Flexibility

Provide leadership presence during peak times and cover Front Desk or other departments when needed due to call-offs or scheduling gaps. Support team morale and ensure smooth operations at all times.

Serve and act as General Manager in his or her absence.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to make informed decisions under pressure while maintaining professionalism and service excellence. Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
