Dual Hotel Sales Manager

Job Summary
Holiday Inn Express Topeka West Wanamaker and Garner Hotel Topeka West are seeking a dynamic and energetic Dual Hotel Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives and enhance guest experiences across our hotel properties. This pivotal role combines strategic sales management with exceptional guest relations, ensuring our hotel remains competitive and renowned for outstanding hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through innovative sales strategies and superior customer service. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee sales operations, supervise staff, and foster lasting relationships with clients and guests alike.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract new business and retain existing clients across multiple hotel properties.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets while maintaining high standards of guest service and professionalism.
  • Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and local organizations to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee hotel operations related to guest services, including front desk management, night audits, and guest relations initiatives.
  • Manage budgeting processes, revenue management efforts, and human resources functions such as staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure seamless delivery of services, from reservations to guest experiences at the resort or hotel facilities.
  • Utilize multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries efficiently while promoting the hotel’s offerings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales tactics accordingly; analyze data for revenue optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with hospitality standards, including guest safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
  • Support the implementation of customer service excellence initiatives that enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality sales with supervising responsibilities.
  • Strong background in revenue management, budgeting, and human resources within a hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional customer service skills coupled with leadership qualities that inspire teams to excel.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel operations including front desk procedures, night audit processes, and guest relations.
  • Familiarity with hospitality management software systems and multi-line phone systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth in a resort or hotel environment.
