Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
You must:
- Have minimum 5 years experience in a Dubai-based Business Buying / Business Brokerage / SME Acquisition firm
- Have worked specifically in business evaluation, not sales
- Have minimum 7 years continuous residency in Dubai
- Have hands-on experience evaluating UAE businesses for acquisition
- Be able to independently analyze a business from zero to final acquisition recommendation

Role Objective
You will fully dissect a business before acquisition.
Your work will determine whether Persian Horizon proceeds with purchase.
You must extract and validate:
- Financial reality
- Operational integrity
- Regulatory exposure
- Government compliance status
- Sustainability of earnings
- Hidden liabilities
- Real working capital needs
- Risk exposure
The Acquisition Director will act based on your findings.
Core Responsibilities
You will independently perform:
Financial Deep Analysis
- Full P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow validation
- Bank statement reconciliation vs declared revenue
- VAT filing verification vs actual activity
- Payroll validation & labor cost integrity
- Supplier statement verification
- Margin sustainability testing
- Revenue manipulation red flag detection
- EBITDA normalization (owner add-backs, one-offs, related parties)
Operational & Structural Review
- Cost structure integrity
- Rent & labor ratio sustainability
- Capacity & throughput analysis
- Dependency risk (owner, supplier, landlord, key staff)
Government & Legal Exposure Check
- Trade license status & activity validation
- Fines / penalties exposure
- Visa liabilities
- Labor file status
- VAT compliance history
- Municipality or regulatory exposure (if applicable)
Valuation & Decision Modeling
- Earnings-based valuation ranges
- Scenario & sensitivity models
- Working capital & liquidity stress test
- Go / No-Go structured recommendation
- Risk register with mitigation pathways
Mandatory Technical Competencies
You must demonstrate:
- Advanced Excel financial modeling
- UAE SME valuation logic
- Due diligence frameworks
- Multi-source financial reconciliation
- Cash conversion cycle analysis
- Red-flag identification capability
- Structured risk assessment methodology
You must know UAE business-for-sale ecosystems and benchmarking methods.
AI & Analytical Tools Requirement
You must have practical experience using AI tools to:
- Support financial modeling
- Validate assumptions
- Perform scenario analysis
- Extract insights from large financial datasets
Applicants without AI-assisted analytical exposure will not be prioritized.
Strong Advantage
- Power BI (very high value)
- Structured due diligence tracker management
- Experience preparing internal acquisition memos
- Experience supporting transaction decision committees
