Ductman

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install HVAC duct systems (GI ducts, pre-insulated ducts, or flexible ducts)
• Read and interpret duct layout drawings and shop drawings
• Measure, cut, assemble, and seal duct sections accurately
• Install hangers, supports, dampers, and accessories
• Ensure proper alignment, insulation, and air-tight sealing of ducts
• Coordinate with HVAC technicians and site supervisors
• Inspect installed ductwork for quality and compliance
• Follow site safety rules and company procedures
• Maintain tools and a clean work area

Requirements

• Proven experience as a ductman or duct installer
• Knowledge of HVAC ducting systems and materials
• Ability to read basic drawings and measurements
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Physically fit and able to work at heights when required
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial HVAC projects
• Knowledge of SMACNA standards
• Ability to work overtime or shifts as required
