Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to operate various types of heavy-duty trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently to designated locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a professional driver with a strong understanding of route driving, load & unload procedures, and commercial driving standards.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers with manual transmission in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload freight, materials, or debris at various job sites using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Drive route-specific deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of freight or materials
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency
• Follow all safety protocols related to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized truck types
• Complete necessary documentation related to deliveries, routes, and vehicle maintenance logs
• Assist in securing loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit

Experience

• Proven experience as a truck driver with a focus on commercial driving, including route driving and delivery experience
• Prior experience operating dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles is preferred
• Familiarity with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and safety standards for trucking operations
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus but not required
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailers, tankers, flatbeds, or refrigerated trailers is required
• Knowledge of manual transmission operation and vehicle maintenance practices
• Demonstrated ability to drive safely over long distances while adhering to schedules and safety regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
