Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load management will ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission safely across diverse routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of materials while minimizing fuel consumption and delays.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, loads, mileage, and fuel consumption for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate deliveries, manage schedules, and address any logistical challenges promptly.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving load & unload operations.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with tractor-trailers or dump trucks.
• Experience with route driving across urban or rural areas in various weather conditions.
• Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading materials.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transportation, heavy machinery operation, and vehicle maintenance.
