Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or asphalt to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, demolition, or waste management projects with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission, ensuring safe handling and adherence to traffic laws and company policies
• Load and unload materials accurately at designated locations.
• Experience with Asphalt a plus
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition for compliance and operational purposes
• Assist with load securing and ensure cargo is properly balanced and secured before transit
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any logistical challenges

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving route driving and freight handling
• Proficiency in operating trucks with manual transmission systems
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to trucking and material transport
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record;
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks confidently
• 2+ Years experience driving CDL a must
• MUST be able to drive manual transmission, truck is a 13 speed
