Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Duties

• Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure and balanced loads.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as needed for traffic, weather conditions, or site requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips, checking for mechanical issues, fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety features.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route changes.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations related to commercial driving, including proper handling of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks.
• Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely.
• Familiarity with handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and freight load securement techniques.
• Experience with load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods; knowledge of safety protocols during cargo handling.
• Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety standards and traffic laws.
