Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across various job sites. Your expertise in handling heavy-duty trucks, combined with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, will ensure that projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, demolition, or waste management operations while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and flatbeds to transport materials efficiently and safely
• Load, unload, and secure freight, including debris, gravel, sand, or other construction materials
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations
• Perform routine inspections of trucks before and after trips, checking for mechanical issues or safety hazards
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, cargo weight, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during vehicle operation
• Assist with loading and unloading materials using equipment such as forklifts when necessary

Skills

• Proven experience driving commercial trucks, especially dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks
• Strong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols in transportation
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and efficiently
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trailers, tankers, and freight hauling is a plus
• Skilled in performing vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation laws
• Experience with forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo is advantageous
