Duties

• Safely operate dump trucks with manual transmission across diverse terrains and job sites
• Load and unload materials such as gravel, sand, debris, or waste using appropriate equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks
• Drive route-specific trucks including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, or specialized dump trucks to deliver materials efficiently
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, loads, mileage, and fuel usage for reporting purposes
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly

Experience

• Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial setting
• Familiarity with manual transmission truck operation and various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers or flatbeds
• Prior experience driving tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, or freight delivery vehicles preferred
• Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety procedures for transporting freight or construction materials
• Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary
• Strong understanding of route driving, traffic regulations, and safety standards for commercial driving
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements; experience with tanker or specialized trailers is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
